Offsets
The offset of a wheel is the distance from the hub mounting surface to the center line of the wheel
VISUALIZE THE OFFSET
It's easiest to visualize by measuring how far the wheel's mounting face sits away from the curb
12.25 - 5.80" offset
The 5.80" positive offset means the mounting face sits 5.80" away from the wheel's center line toward the curb
Visually, this looks like about 1" from the curb
12.25 - 3.88" offset
The 3.88" positive offset means the mounting face sits 3.88" away from the wheel's center line toward the curb
Visually, this looks like about 3" from the curb
12.25 - 0.56" offset
The 0.56" positive offset means the mounting face sits 0.56" away from the wheel's center line toward the curb
Visually, this sits almost in the dead center of the wheel, or around 6" from the curb
